普拉丹还用当地下流猥褻的语言称她为「中国妞(Chinki)」、「中国饺子(Momos)」、「中国汤面(Thukpas)」、「中国面条(Noodles)」。

DARJEELING: In perhaps the first incident of its kind in the Hills, a Chinese national on a holiday with her husband lodged a complaint with police on Saturday, alleging molestation by a local youth the previous night. A stranger had his hands in a woman's places no stranger should touch. That very horror happened to a Chinese woman on her India trip.

The Chinese woman was allegedly intercepted by S Pradhan on Nehru Road when she was returning to the hotel with her husband around 9 pm on Friday.

Taking advantage of darkness, Pradhan reached his hands under the victim's underwear, and touched the victim. The youth allegedly molested her by knowingly and intentionally  hugging her and touching the victim in the area of the victim's cheeks, breasts, buttocks, inner thigh, groin and genitalia, and kissed her against her will. At some point, he inserted his "one or more of his fingers into, and penetrated, the victim's genitalia."

He called her "chinki" (Chinese Chick), "momos" (dumplings, wontons), "thukpas" (noodle soup) and "noodles" and other vulgar calls

"In winter, shops and markets usually close early and there are not many people on the roads. The accused took advantage of the deserted streets as well as darkness to approach the tourist and touch her inappropriately," said police.

The victim and her husband were putting up in a hotel on Gandhi Road, which is about half a kilometer from the place of incident.

The victim in her complaint also alleged that the youth tried to snatch her mobile phone but he was forced to run away when her husband shouted. She said that at the time of incident, there were no people nearby.

In fact, the victim complainted against the local police goes into explicit detail about what local youth did with his hands and fingers on her body.

According to police, Pradhan is a drug addict and is currently on the run. "We are looking out for him," police added.

TSR driver molests two Chinese women

NEW DELHI: Two Chinese nationals were molested by an autorickshaw driver at Aurangzeb Road in New Delhi on Sunday evening. Both the victims are students and had come to India from Hong Kong last year.

The driver has been arrested. While one of them is 31-years-old and is studying international relations in JNU, the other is 28-years of age and is pursuing a post-graduate course in DU.

According to the police, they had gone to Patiala House courts to meet a lawyer who is their friend. They then hired an autorickshaw for JNU.

The driver, Ram Brij, stopped at a secluded place on Aurangzeb Road and abused the women. "He first abused them in Hindi. The women don't understand Hindi and they kept smiling. The driver then tried to molest one of them," said a senior police officer.

Fortunately for the victims, a Police Control Room vehicle noticed the autorickshaw. The driver was arrested and a case registered in Tughlak Road police station.
