关于这次解放有些奇怪，并不是彻底消灭了恐怖分子而是收缴了武器赶走了恐怖分子。不过打霍姆斯老城区的主要是NDF不是SAA，估计和NDF攻坚能力差有关系。盘踞在老城区的主要是自油军，另外在西郊的胜利阵线并没有受到这个协议的影响。

Homs is now terrorist free. The areas evacuated by the terrorists include: Baab Hood, Al-Qaraabees, Jawrat Al-Shiyyaah and Al-Hameediyya. Food and medicine are ready to be poured in as soon as the last terrorist throws up his arms in abject surrender.

Of the 1,000 terrorists who remained inside the city, only 400 are now alive and ready for certain death in another location. According to our sources, the terrorist leaders have vowed to leave Syria and never return.

Talal Barazi, the Homs governor, said on Friday: "A ceasefire agreement in Old City Homs and surrounding areas is starting at 12.30pm [9.30GMT] for over 24 hours. Armed rebels will leave the Old City and head towards northern outskirts and the army will take over the Old City."

The 48-hour cease-fire deal, reported by opposition activists and pro-government TV stations, came after heavy airstrikes and artillery bombardment of rebel-held areas intensified in recent weeks.
