If you actually watched this movie then you would know that the real good guys are the brave soldiers and not political standpoints. This movie doesn't really give an idea of who the "good guys" or "bad guys" are in terms of politics as there is little of it involved in the movie. So I suggest you get rid of that anti- China mentality of yours and just enjoy the story.

Yeah... well... all technical stuff... but this is simply a great quality movie describing soldiers! I DON'T fancy war... I encourage every man, woman or child to NOT pick up a weapon... even if they are threatened... or killed... if they don't...Just DON'T pick up weapons...War is SOOOOOOOOOOOO yesterday...But for SURE a good movie!!!!;O)

Very accurate in showing equipment. Loved seeing the Johnson rifle in the first scene. The US advisers posted with the CCP troops were Marines, and only the Marine Corps used the Johnson. The Marine term gung ho came from USMC personnel working with Chinese Communist Party forces during WW II

Should clariify a bit. Sun Yet Sen began the revolution against the Manchu Qing Dynasty in the early 1900s. At first the fledgeling Chinese Communist Party and The Kuomintang were allied, but Chiang Kai Shek and the Kuomintang split with The CCP (or CPC) in 1927. They fought an early civil war until the Japanese invasion starting in 1931. AFter an uneasy alliance during WW II, they resumed the civil war, with the CCP taking control of the Mainland in 1949. The landmine scene is Korean War.

This is a fabulous movie, on par or exceeding 'Saying Private Ryan.' I appreciate the person who posted it. Until recently, I was completely oblivious to the abundance of high-quality, compelling movies from China, Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries. The world would be a much better place if people broke off the shackles of rigid ideology with its attendant black and white dichotomous thinking. There is no political or cultural system that solves all human problems.

Propaganda?? That guy is retarded. I love foreign war films because they show the emotional gritty stories of the everyday soldiers. Foreign films hardly filter out the horrible reality of war. Our American war movies are mostly just male models slaughtering faceless enemies who don't know how to aim their weapons.

How is this film communist propaganda? Is it only because the story is told from the perspective of a communist soldier? The movie is about a captain fighting for the recognition of his comrades. There is very little politics in this film. Saying this film is propaganda is like saying Saving Private Ryan is propaganda.

True, many countries in Europe did start from peasants, but they began industrializing during like the 1500s. China started in 1949. Europe had quite a bit of a head start.

True, many countries in Europe did start from peasants, but they began industrializing during like the 1500s. China started in 1949. Europe had quite a bit of a head start.

If you actually watched this movie then you would know that the real good guys are the brave soldiers and not political standpoints. This movie doesn't really give an idea of who the "good guys" or "bad guys" are in terms of politics as there is little of it involved in the movie. So I suggest you get rid of that anti- China mentality of yours and just enjoy the story.

Very accurate in showing equipment. Loved seeing the Johnson rifle in the first scene. The US advisers posted with the CCP troops were Marines, and only the Marine Corps used the Johnson. The Marine term gung ho came from USMC personnel working with Chinese Communist Party forces during WW II

Should clariify a bit. Sun Yet Sen began the revolution against the Manchu Qing Dynasty in the early 1900s. At first the fledgeling Chinese Communist Party and The Kuomintang were allied, but Chiang Kai Shek and the Kuomintang split with The CCP (or CPC) in 1927. They fought an early civil war until the Japanese invasion starting in 1931. AFter an uneasy alliance during WW II, they resumed the civil war, with the CCP taking control of the Mainland in 1949. The landmine scene is Korean War.

Even the Taiwanese government has never claimed independence, and they actually say there is only one government of China as well, and you'd ever bothered to do research beyond what FOX news tells you, you'd know that.As for Tibet, the good of the people and what they want are two totally different things. China changed a backwater medieval state into a productive province, and look at your own country. China took a province. America stole all of its land from the British/Mexicans, Indians.

This is a fabulous movie, on par or exceeding 'Saying Private Ryan.' I appreciate the person who posted it. Until recently, I was completely oblivious to the abundance of high-quality, compelling movies from China, Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries. The world would be a much better place if people broke off the shackles of rigid ideology with its attendant black and white dichotomous thinking. There is no political or cultural system that solves all human problems.

Propaganda?? That guy is retarded. I love foreign war films because they show the emotional gritty stories of the everyday soldiers. Foreign films hardly filter out the horrible reality of war. Our American war movies are mostly just male models slaughtering faceless enemies who don't know how to aim their weapons.

How is this film communist propaganda? Is it only because the story is told from the perspective of a communist soldier? The movie is about a captain fighting for the recognition of his comrades. There is very little politics in this film. Saying this film is propaganda is like saying Saving Private Ryan is propaganda.

政治宣传？？这人就是个傻逼，我很喜欢外国战争片的原因是他们拍出了士兵们的日常情感和故事，外国电影通常很难过滤掉现实战争的残酷，而我们美国电影大多数都是些男模特般的演员去屠杀那些连瞄准都不知道且毫无表情的敌军。（回复有人说是政治宣传 此条28个赞）

How is this film communist propaganda? Is it only because the story is told from the perspective of a communist soldier? The movie is about a captain fighting for the recognition of his comrades. There is very little politics in this film. Saying this film is propaganda is like saying Saving Private Ryan is propaganda.

True, many countries in Europe did start from peasants, but they began industrializing during like the 1500s. China started in 1949. Europe had quite a bit of a head start.

换了你是西方老牌列强们，你也会对中国感到十分不爽！
而如今越来越壮硕的那条龙，让他们更是不爽。只不过西方人也不得不面对现实了，因为都知道不但杀不死这条龙，而且自己的生存发展也离不开这条龙。

仇红，应该说主要是麦卡锡主义的产物...不是靠苏联干多少坏事，而是靠美国媒体疯狂的宣传制造出来的。

只想说《集结号》是一部很不错的片子。
我也不待见这部电影，分明就是意识形态有问题！解放战争时期全军将士英勇奋战，别说忘了吹什么撤退集结号，就是事先下达一个掩护撤退的必死命令也无不争而用命！分明就是某些导演为了追随西方价值观、为了取悦洋人抹黑革命牺牲精神的无耻虚构之作！

我记得很清楚，我是一个人去北京华星影院看的集结号，当时周围坐着一群白发老人，他们看的很有感觉，都默默地在抹眼泪，我也很受感染。
