He explains that despite this, many more cities with a 10million-plus population have emerged in India primarily because populationgrowth in the country is still very high compared to other more developed andurbanised countries that have large cities.

So Delhiand Mumbai have achieved a distinction, a dubious distinction. All politicalparties and activities cite the constitution that people are free to settleanywhere in the country. Has any of these leaned people thought about peoplemigrating from other states/countries settle in mega cities and stay in themost inhuman conditions. The constitution should have a clause that a personeither employed or has a proper place to stay can move to cities which are overpopulated.
