President al-Assad decrees increasing monthly salaries of the State's civil, military employees and the retired
Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday issued legislative decree No. 38 for 2013 stipulating for increasing monthly salaries of civil and military state employees.
The decree provides an increase by 40% of the first 10.000 SYP of monthly salary and wage
20% for the second SYP 10.000 of the salary.
10% for the third SYP 10.000 of the salary.
5% for the amount which increases the third SYP 10.000 of the salary.
The decree increased the minimum wage of the private, cooperative and joint sector which is not included in the rules of the State's Employees Basic Law No. 50 for 2004 to be /13670/SYP per month.
President al-Assad also issued legislative decree No. 39 for 2013 increasing monthly salaries of the State's civil and military retired employees.
The decree provides an increase by 25% of the first SYP 10.000 of the pension,
20% for the second SYP 10.000
10% for the amount which increases the second SYP 10.000 of the pension.
